Special Announcement

The Palmetto Historical Park and the Manatee County Agricultural Museum will be closed from October 13th through October 18th to prepare for our annual Halloween Social. We will reopen at 4:00 pm on October 18th when the free family event begins. Check upcoming events for details!

Historical Resources has been digitizing their collections. Check it out online at

The Yard Sale has been moved from the first Saturday in October to the third Saturday in February due to conflicting community events. Mark February 29th, 2015 on your calendars now!

During the school year, the Agricultural Museum will be hosting students on field trips on Wednesdays and Thursdays of most weeks!

Realize Bradenton

The Manatee Village Historical Park is a proud partner of Realize Bradenton. Joining arts, culture and heritage to make downtown Bradenton a unique place to live, work and visit.

The Palmetto Historical Park is host to a wide variety of programming designed to appeal to people of all ages. Each year brings Gospel and Games, Halloween and Summer Socials, as well as our annual Heritage days, historical speakers, Palmetto's Christmas in the Park and a group yard sale. All events and activities are offered free of charge.
